Word of Encouragement: Acts 5:38-39

"...for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”

This week the Lord reminded me of His grace and how my works are nothing without Him, He choose me, a weak vessel, to glorify Himself, as 1 Corinthians 1:26-30 talks about.  Allison texted me this verse from Acts and I was totally encouraged, knowing that the Lord is who supports me, even when I'm failing - that He will accomplish with me all He set out to do, I just need to trust Him.  With the help of the Lord, Peter walked on water, and fell only when he took his eyes away. May we keep our eyes focused on the perfecter of our faith - whose will is always kept.
